Development of a Project Management Methodology for Debswana Project Office at the Orapa Mine

This project entailed a complete review and assessment of the current practices across the entire Orapa mine related to implementation of capital projects.  A project management methodology was developed to improve the management and implementation of projects, ensure end-to-end alignment with international best practice and clearly define the interfaces with critical business processes and departments.  A customized training programme across the mine was developed and implemented for all staff involved in project implementation.
